FEELING TOTALLY INADEQUATE

I ran across a blog that has succeeded in providing me with much amusement and overall entertainment. I logged on today and she had decorated her house for Christmas! I take pride in my Christmas decorations but am certainly falling short. Go over to www.houseofstephens.blogspot.com and see what my house will look like on Sunday evening (after Big Daddy works all weekend to get us up to par). Add a few dogs and cats plus a hamster for good measure.

Anissa - Okay, you completely crack me up - inadequate? PLEASE!

You want the reality of it? This is my first time using "live" garland and having a real "live" tree. For some reason it never dawned on me that live things eventually die. Well, death has come quickly to our banister and mantle. I guess because I hate cold weather and our house feels equivalent to a sauna, the life was sucked right out of my favorite pine garland decorations! Southern Living certainly never prepared me for this!

Oh, and the position I have to get into to water my tree...well, let's just say it could be a yoga move -- the watering tree position(or a good view for a proctologist -- I did not just type that!).

I Can't wait to see what you were up to on Sunday! I expect some photos!

Thompson3,

Jealousy green is not your color. You drop JP off at Granny's, go to work, work through your lunch break, read my blog, read Pioneer Woman, run back over to Granny's to pick up JP and head to McDonald's for french fries and then go home to spruce up your house. That is all there is to it. OH, and send Phil over to his mother's to eat. The horses can eat tomorrow or the next day. You should have plenty of time to get your decorations up to speed.

With Love,
Anissa
